Question

Attempted to load new OneCare CD on my Windows XP computer with the following error:
---------------------------
WinSSUI.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error
---------------------------
To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v2.0.50727Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework.
---------------------------I also reloaded the program several times, performed a complete security scan along with automatic updates for downloads from MicroSoft. Lastly, I looked for similar threads but ran aground.

Thanks to both Jim and Steve for their responses. Upon review of both I elected this article to being the repair. The NET cleanup tool worked fine. I was then able to reinstall the V 2 NET successfully. Then Windows Live Onecare was loaded, this time successfully.
