Boot sector 0 has changed problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi dear all,

Two weeks ago when I booted my laptop I saw a message on my screen telling me "Boot sector 0 has changed. Time and date are corrupted". And since then, whenever I boot my laptop I get the same thing and trying to restart it two or tree times and then pressing F1 is helping me to see the list of operating systems(Debian and Windows) and start any of them. But then I always change the date and time. I searched through the Internet, learnt that "fdisk and fixmbr" commands can help but when I tried to run them using cmd, I couldnt run them. I am also worried about loosing my works in my laptop even if I download that tools and run them. If there is somebody who had a similar problem or who has opinion about this problem, I would be appreciative.
