How to sort my pushpins RRS feed

  • Sorting them where?  Are these after you've exported them to Excel?

  • I would like to be able to optimize and have one of my stops stay at noon. I set the time but when I optimize it moves it, any help please?

  • Ah okay, I think you mean "waypoints" - ie. stops on a route. They're often created from Pushpins. The Optimize button is going to change the order of the waypoints, so only the first waypoint will stay at the same time. It is a messy workaround, but you could export the route to Excel (say), and then adjust the times so that the waypoint in question is at noon.  Our MPRouteWriter addin ( http://www.routewriter.com ) can do the export - MapPoint's "Export to Excel" exports pushpins in an arbitrary order and not in route order.

As I say, it is a bit messy and convoluted. The route on the map does not have the times set correctly, so if you print it out directly from MapPoint, it will still have the incorrect times.
