Unable to Add New Deployment Managers in CRM 4.0

Question
-
I am unable to add a new user as a deployment mangager into CRM in a multiple domain environemnt. (Let's say Domain 1 and Domain 2)
CRM is installed into Domain 1, I have a user account from Domain 2 that I want to add. There is a 1 way trust between Domain 2 to Domain 1, I can add normal users from Domain 2.
When attempting to add a Domain 2 user into the Deployment Manager using the account I set CRM up an account from Domain 1 I get prompted for a login. I had one of our Domain Admins log into this prompt who has access to both domains. The login prompt dissapeared but nothing happend? my user was not added?
Let me know if you need more info to help me answer this, Thanks!

try adding doing the follwoing on the server not adding the user.
It might be that the resolving and access to the AD fails.
If you do have more than one, please add a String: "PreferredDC" to the MSCRM hive in the registry on the CRM Server (HKLM - software - Microsoft - MSCRM) Add in the FQDN of the domain controller within your environment which holds the user domain accounts.
Change the Search order in the registry of the CRM server and point to Your Primary Domain Controller. To do this make the following registry change: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters]"SearchList"= DCName. Change the "DCName" to your Primary Domain Controllers name You should use the FQDN of the Domain Controller where the DNS Server is held and where the CRM Domain accounts are. You MUST reboot the CRM Server in order for these change to take effect.
If this does not work enable the tracing and post your log file aswellYou can skype me aswell

Take a CRM trace when using the deployment manager to check what's happening...
