Disabling/Enabling Missed Calls Notification Email for MOC 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi folks,

The MOC 2007 client has a built-in capability of triggering missed calls notification emails when logged on - independent of any ExUM implementation.

However whenever we apply a Telephony Mode of EV+PBX Integration to the client this capability is removed on the premise that the PBX is then responsible for generating the missed call notification.

This said, if a client is configured for a Telephony Mode of RCC only (and this after all is still a form of PBX integration) then the client generated missed call notifications are still available.  Does this mean that 2 sets of notifications (one from the PBX side - via TAPI integration to Exchange and one from the OCS client MAPI integration) will be generated?

Does anyone know if there is another registry setting available to re-enable this missed call email capability even when Telephony Mode is for PBX integration - so remving the dependancy on the PBX? Or, to ensure consistency in behaviour (we have a mixture of RCC only, Dual-Mode and EV only clients here) is there someway of turning off the missed calls notification at all the clients completely (without running ExUM integration of course)?

    Any suggestions greatly welcomed.
