SyncToyCmd skipping files RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have SyncToy 2.1 installed on my Windows 7 x64 system. I have a folder pair set up and it seems to sync OK (echo from source to target) when I run through the GUI; however I want to sync automatically each day.

To do this, I have Task Scheduler running synctoycmd -r but it's producing the following output:

Preview of Folder Backup (C:\Users\wilsonm\Documents\, F:\Synced with company PC\) in time 00:00:51:538.
    SyncToy action was 'Echo'
    Found 24 actions to perform.
Found 24,597 files that did not require action.
    Analyzed 477.3 files per second.
Avoided copying 53,913,472,720 bytes in 24,597 files.
Saved approximately 05:57:06:00 by not copying any files.

It seems that the sync only runs when I use the GUI.  Please can anyone suggest what's up here?
