Windows 7 suddenly not valid

Question
-
Have a Dell Vostro 410 that came with XP installed and a reinstallation DVD for Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Went thru upgrade, started downloading updates. Did this several times, no problems. Didn't work with it for 2-3 weeks. Came back to do more updates and when i power it up, it puts Windows 7 Build 7601 This copy of windows is not genuine in the corner of the screen. Says I need to activate. HELP!Monday, April 15, 2013 4:11 AM

MGA Diagnostic Report Required:
To properly analyze and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once downloaded, run the tool.Click on the Continue button, after a short time, the Continue button will change to a Copy button.Click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your post.Carey Frisch

Unfortunately, your Dell PC was manufactured in the year 2008, well over a year before Dell began shipping their PCs with Windows 7. You cannot use that Dell reinstallation DVD for Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on that PC. If you wish to run Windows 7 Professional on that Dell PC, you'll need to purchase a Full Retail version of Windows 7 Professional and perform a "clean install".
