CRM Training Fun RRS feed

  • Question

  • Does anyone have any good ideas on how to make CRM 4.0 training fun for Sales?  The training is not that exciting for new sales people and I wondered if anyone had any good ideas.  This is an hour classroom session.  Its a lot to cram into an hour, but I thought there may be a way to make it fun and easier for people to grasp that have never used a CRM before.  Some have used a CRM and some have not.  I appreciate your positive tips.   Thanks!

  • Sorry, it's just not possible.

    Just kidding....... maybe :)

Hmm, A google search on this one doesn't yield much, in fact, this forum question was on the first page.  You could make some jokes or do a social activity around managing customer relationships and relate it somehow to some really hard task... like let's say... herding cats.  You could then riddle your slide show with lots of internet provided cat pictures.

Please emphasize the importance of not selling the customer on unsupported customizations.  It puts your company and customers in a dangerous spot and it will drive your developers nuts.  :)

  • Hi,

During the training focus on following points:

    1. Provide Training Agenda, training slides copy and few lab practise sessions in the begining of training

    2. Do not jump out directly with to the system have few slides with you, start from slides and then move to the system
    3. In slides provide brief introduction to their process and then execute into the system by using practical business scenarios examples
    4. During training ask questions and few time invite attendees to perform the functionality in system
    5. Show them how system is making their work easy and if they use Outlook then also use outlook for training
