My hardrive crashed completely about 1 1/2 months ago. I had a new harddrive put in and re-installed all necessary programs, but previously I did have my user account and the administrator account set up. Sometimes I was unable to uninstall a program as it stated that the administrator set policies to prevent this. So I would then just use the admin account and remove the offending program.
Now I have tried using the command prompt and entered the following: 'net user administrator /active:yes' and this gives me a system 5 error has occurred. Access denied. Yet when I drop the /active:yes I get the following:
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6001]

C:\Users\Kelly>net user administrator /active:yes
System error 5 has occurred.

The command completed successfully.
I am at a loss as to how to get it activated again, and another way to remove a program completely.
Thanks
