Office 2010 Beta forums removed. But where are the Office 2010 (non-Beta) forums that replace them? RRS feed

  • Question

  • As Office 2010 has now reached RTM, the contents of the Office 2010 Beta forums have been moved to a single read-only location and then deleted from the individual Office 2010 Beta product forums.

However in the same TechNet list of forums, there are no non-Beta Office 2010 forums.

So where are Office 2010 users supposed to ask their questions now?

(It's not good enough to say that the launch date isn't until May and delivery to end-users isn't until June. There are users who have copies via Volume License agreements and MSDN/TechNet and they need support now - the beta forums would have been fine in the meantime for that support but they have gone and seemingly haven't been replaced by anything).

P.S. In the single post in each Beta forum saying where to find the archived copy of the threads from that forum, there is no mention of where the replacement RTM forum for that product is to be found. Surely whoever wrote these posts should be aware that people need to know the new RTM location. (Warning: I checked the SharePoint 2010 Workspace and Word 2010 forums only but the wording was the same in both cases apart from the change in the name of the product.)

P.P.S. The Office 2010 page linking to all the Office 2010 forums is here:,visio2010,grooveserveritpro. At the time of writing this, the only RTM Office 2010 product listed there is a single Visio 2010 forum (General) at

FAQ sites: (SP 2010); (v3) and (WSS 2.0)
Complete Book Lists (incl. foreign language) on each site.
