Problems tracking appointments in CRM 2015 RRS feed

  • Hi

    Has anyone seen this error before when tracking Outlook appointments in CRM?

    And do you have any idea as how to solve it.

    I checked that the user is system administrator.

    I checked that the user has syncronization rules that allows for tracking.

    It only effects 1 in 20 users in the organization I am working with, but is the CEO, so of cause the system is not working :)

    I see same problem on some of my 2015 customers. Even update 0.1 does not solve the problem. My problems show up on tracked mails. You can try an find the sync'ed element "Regneark leder gruppen" and then delete it in Outlook (if this is okay to the CEO). Then see if the problems are still there. I ask my users to ignore the error and hope for at problem solved in next rollup*.

    I even try to clean out the Outlook client completely (deleting leftovers in %appdata% after unhooking the organisation in outlook and uninstalling) and then reinstall client. But this did not help either.

    * as usual it is not possible to report errors on crm (i.e. using connect) - the only way is to report a support case, and this always takes ages and seldom solve problems like this (I typically just get at 'fixed in next rollup' answer).

  • Hi Henrik Thx for replying.. The error happens on the track event.. The appointment cant be tracked.. The user can track emails, tasks, contacts just fine, but tracking appointment fails.
