Connecting USB HID device via Remote Desktop RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have some software running on a remote system and we connect via Remote Desktop.  RDP of course lets you can pass through local devices to that remote host.

We have a device that communicates via the USB HID protocol (similar to keyboard and mice) but it's not in the list of redirectable peripherals.  Any suggestions on where I can ask to find out the requirements for a USB device to be redirectable?

    Thanks much,

    Tony
