Errors in constant requests to CRM RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    We have a web service which is connected to the CRM. Requests to the web service .. thus also to the CRM are being done constantly every minute for multiple devices. The problem is that after some time running, errors like (cannot amend closed or cancelled activity) and others are being invoked thus failing the request.

    Do you know what could be causing this please? Is it some kind of memory leak? How can we solve this?

  • I think you'll have to be more specific to get a definitive answer but "cannot amend closed or cancelled activity" is a valid condition that it would seem the web service isn't handling correctly ....

    When activities are in a certain state they can no longer be amended (I believe it may be possible to change the activity state, amend them and change it back).

    I think you need to look at the code of the web service or discuss it with whoever wrote it...
