    the latest beta of microsoft security essentials (for 32bit vista/win7, NOT xp) will install on WHS. you can download it from the microsoft connect website.

    You should only use A/Vs that are WHS-aware.  avast! and F-secure both have WHS-specific versions.

    (And even though MSE v2 beta installs on WHS, it's beta, it's unsupported, and nowhere on any MSE page do I see where it specifically says "for WHS".  As such I would not recommend it at this time.)
