    Can CRM 2011 IFD be configured with Dynamic IP address.

  • CRM doesn't particularly care about IP addresses. It is driven by URLs and DNS names. When you configure IFD you will need to specify a number of DNS names that resolve on the Internet. So as long as those DNS names resolve to the correct servers and services on your network and the records get updated when an IP address changes then dynamics IP addresses may well work. However, given that it takes time for DNS records to propogate you may find some users can't connect because their copy of a DNS record is out of date and refers to the old address.

    However, personally I would not use dynamics IP addresses.
