CRM 2011- RU7 Server Installation hanged RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am installing RU 7 on my Web Server and after initial 2 mins it hangs and give this alert message.

    Failed to open or create the log file C:\Users\ABC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MSCRM\logs\KB2600643.log

    The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\ABC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MSCRM\logs\KB2600643.log' because it is being used by another process.

    Any thoughts? Thanks

  • Please make sure the install user have the local admin right. Please also reboot the server and try again.
