new id - can not access old id RRS feed

  • I installed OneCare on a new laptop in August. This was a purchase made with the laptop so I have the auth. code. I loved the software, no problems. I installed it on my 2nd PC, desktop a couple of months later... wonderful, no problem. I now want to install on the 3rd PC but unfortunately had my original ID harvested, I have no password or access to that account.  I created a new Live ID but it is rejected because the auth. code is being used by another ID (my old one that I can not access). I uninstalled on the original laptop hoping to be able to use the new ID - no luck. I have the original box, auth code and receipt but am now unable to use at all. Is there anyway to assign to a new id or am I out $50. Thanks for any help, I can not leave 3 PC's with no protection.
