DeltaManipulation event RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello I, m using the ManipulationEvents for Multitouch in my ChartCursormodifier:

    ((SciChartSurface)ParentSurface).IsManipulationEnabled = true;

            ((SciChartSurface)ParentSurface).ManipulationDelta += BaseCursorModifier_ManipulationDelta;

            ((SciChartSurface)ParentSurface).ManipulationStarted += BaseCursorModifier_ManipulationStarted;

            ((SciChartSurface)ParentSurface).ManipulationCompleted += BaseCursorModifier_ManipulationCompleted;

            ((SciChartSurface)ParentSurface).ManipulationInertiaStarting += BaseCursorModifier_ManipulationInertiaStarting;

    private void BaseCursorModifier_ManipulationStarted(object sender, ManipulationStartedEventArgs e)

        {

          Manipulation.SetManipulationMode((UIElement)sender, ManipulationModes.All);

          e.Handled = false;

        }

    This works, but X and Y Coordinates are always  equal in ManipulationDeltaEventArgs.Expansion?

  • Hi Hartl_D,

    Based on your description, you used SciChart control in your project. It is a third party library. We suggest you post your question in SciChart official forum for better support:http://www.scichart.com/questions/

  • I recall a similar question about multitouch where the OP stated they couldn't get the xy co-ordinates difference.

    I couldn't find it when I looked yesterday.

    Not sure when that was asked, but like a month or so ago.

    I guess maybe this is a feature of touch you're seeing here. Unfortunately, I don't have a touch machine.

    Hope that helps.
