Runtime Error in Opera

Question

Hey, I reported an error a while back and requested it be moved here when I realised that it was not in the correct forum.
It hasn't been resolved yet, so i'm posting it here again.

Problem:
Using the Opera browser, whenever I log into MSDN forums, I get a runtime error. I also get the error when clicking on links that I find when searching from Bing or google etc. The error details are hidden from view (customErrors are on). Please see repro steps in the other thread I linked to above.

Sir, this isn't an issue in desktop search. I've seen this as well. It's a "blown cookie" or corrupted cookie issue. The only way I can fixit is to delete my LiveID cookie and then it's fine.Otherwise you get this issue where you get a SQL error/IIS error and theissue looks like it's server side when it's client side. And yeah, firefox or chrome doesn't have the issue.

Hello,
Thank you for your post! I would suggest posting your question in one of the (Windows Developer Center > Windows: Search Forums > Windows Desktop Search Help > Windows Safe Search Filter - Application Error) located here:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/windowsdesktopsearchhelp/threads
Hope that helps!
Have a great day!
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Susan
So far so good. I can use MSDN in Opera again:P Hopefully the MSDN forum developers can prevent this from happening for other users by tweaking their cookie logic (or handling the errors server side), but for now i'm a happy camper again.
Thank you for taking the time to reply!
