hi amirafshar ,
Q. >>>>>>>>What is Backup?<<<<<<<<
In information technology, a backup or the process of backing up refers to making copies of data so that these additional copies may be used to restore the original after a data loss event. These additional copies are typically called "backups." The verb is back up in two words, whereas the noun is backup
Here is the basic concept written about Backup(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backup )
Q.>>>>>>>What is Recovery(DATA)?<<<<<<<<<
ans. Restoring data from disks, tapes, CDs and digital photo memory cards that have been damaged by accidents, natural disasters, power surges and malfunctioning electronics.

Tapan,
Please DO NOT encourage people to ask off-topic questions here by providing answers to them.
I have seen other useful forums and newsgroups being destroyed by this, being flooded by off-topic post so much
they lost any relevance to the original purpose the forum was created for.

Your question is off-topic here
This is the Microsoft Training and Certification forum,
Norton ghost 15 isn't even a Microsoft product.
You need to ask your question elsewhere,
I'm sure there are forums you can find trough the Norton community website here
where your question is more appropriate

Both Backup and recovery systems are used for the protection and retention of data. Backup is used to keep copies of data for data protection purposes andwhile recovery is used for salvaging data that is already lost. In other words, backup can be considered a precautionary method (making and keeping copies of data in case they get lost), while recovery is a cure for already lost data.
