    Hey I went to work last night and my 9 year old daughter got on my computer and now when I turned on my computer today it will only let me log on to safe mode. I don't know whats going on. I tried to start windows vista normally but when I put in my password it just freezes up on me. I really cant afford to pay to have it fixed but I was hoping that someone out there had some kind of idea or something that I can do to try and fix this problem. Please help what do I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

     Do you have any really important data?  Is it possible to ask your daughter what exactly she did? Here's how I'd do it.
    1) Boot into safe mode and back up as much data as you need/want. While you're doing this, do it as though you will never have this opportunity again.
    2) Reinstall windows. I know this is really drastic, so I'm going to suggest waiting a while for another answer but barring that, the only other alternative I can think of is a full reinstall.
    If your daughter can say what she did or where she went, it might help.
