Windows OneCare update

Question
-
This software sucks - first the trial expired 2 months early, now my paid version does not update, it tells me to go to OneCare on my laptop, when I do, it loops back and says action needed, go to OneCare and follow the steps. Very frustrating. Then, as indicated, I go to MicroSoft updates, and there is nothing for OneCare. I don't have time nor the patience for this ***.

I am thinking that your problem may not be that OneCare isn't updating, but that your Hub PC is reporting that the status of the laptop is at risk because it is missing important Windows Updates. If that is the case, you need to install any missing important/critical updates on the laptop in order to get back to green status. Make sure that you check the update history for any failed updates and show hidden updates that may have been hidden by you.
If the problem with missing updates persists, try the database reset tool -
(on the laptop) or contact support.
