Most files are like $NTUninstallKb....$ I have placed copies of printout screens (14 of them) on my photobucket if you want to take a look ...
Can any of these files be deleted? How?

These are file installed by updates and Service Packs.
You can just delete them, but then, you can't uninstall later.
In future updates, type
(Updatename) /s

You can actually try Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
Try executing in cmd:
c:\program files\Windows Installer Cleanup Utility>MsiZap.exe G!
