Office Home and Student 2007 Product Key INVALID

Question
-
i got this new notebook 5 months ago but did not try to activate the microsoft office with the product key until recently.
i am now unable to use any of the microsoft office applications as they are in REDUCED mode (viewing only, no editing).
i think the version that i am using is a full version (not a trial version).. but i am not 100% sure. how do i check this?
when i type in the product key. an error message appear "The key is incorrect. Verify that you have the correct key, and then retype it". what should i do now so that i can activate microsoft office?
Please help!
also, the box does not come with a CD. So if you are to advise me to reinstall, how do i do it without a CD ROM?

Hello TANLH,
The Office Status as seen in your diagnostic report here: Office Status: 102 means this is a trial version that is currently installed. If you are attempting to use the product key on the bottom of your laptop then this product key is for your copy of Windows and not Office. For the most part computer manufacturers will bundle trial software with their computer, including Office. If you purchased the Office suite along with your laptop you will need to contact the manufacturer directly to obtain the media for Office along with the product key. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thank you,

Hi Darryl - Unfortunately we don't have records of customer's product keys. You'll want to check your copy of Office Home and Student, check on the CD case or jacket for a sticker that will have your unique product key printed on it. Please be careful when entering your product key, it needs to match exactly. The number '8' can look very similar to the letter 'B' and vice versa.
Thanks,
