Unable to open or copy folders on backup drive.

Hello, I am running the following
Windows Home Server Console: 6.0.1771.0
Windows Home Server Backup & Restore: 6.0.1771.0
Windows Home Server Drive Extender: 6.0.1771.0
Windows Home Server Remote Access: 6.0.1771.0
Windows Home Server Storage Manager: 6.0.1771.0
I have 4 computers on my network. Vista Home 64. and two Vista Ultimate 32bit machines. My backups appear to be successful when I log into the Home server console. I can even open the backup and see the files and folders on it. The problem is when I try to access any of the folders on the backup drive. I just get an hourglass. Eventually I get a messag stating the the application is not responding or I am forced to reboot. Also I often get a message stating that the backup service is not running. I can restart the server and open the backup but I still cannot access any of the files on it. This happens on all three systems. Also it happens regardless of which backup I open. All drives on the server report healthy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.Wednesday, November 26, 2008 12:29 AM

Please uninstall the beta of Power Pack 1, turn on automatic updates, and update to the RTW version of Power Pack 1 which is 6.0.1800.0. Also, please be sure that you are able to update to today's QFE.
Thank you

Thanks for the help. How do I uninstall the powerpack? It does not show in add remove programs and I can't find anything in the documentation unless I am missing it.
Thanks again.Wednesday, November 26, 2008 2:56 AM -

Thanks, the problem has been resolved. I ran all the latest updates after uninstalling the beta, rebooted the server, upgraded the console on my Vista 64 workstation rebooted it and now I can read all of my backups.
Thanks again.Wednesday, November 26, 2008 3:49 AM
