Windows 7 does not recognize internal or external DVD, iTunes does not recognize iPhone/iPod

Question
-
Windows does not recognize attached devices such as the internal DVD, external DVD (which I bought thinking that there was a problem with the internal) and iTunes does not recognize my iPhone (which could be a different issue). The text box states,
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
The diagnostic follows. Thanks for your help.

This is not a WGA issue - it's either a problem with the drivers for the hardware, or a problem with the Windows certificates.
You should repost your problems in a more appropriate forum - the MS Community Hardware&Drivers forum here....
