How to assign cases to users from portal to CRM automatically by order of least no. of cases assigned to a user? RRS feed

  • Hi, 

    We have a requirement where we need to create cases in CRM from web portal. However, the case in the CRM should be assigned to the user who has the least no. of cases at a given time. How can this be achieved? 

    Will we require to write a custom workflow activity that runs on case creation, or it can be handled by CRM configurtion? Please advise.

    I would suggest to develop code that will produce that kind of logic. As far as I know there is no possibility to route case to owner using inbuilt logic.
