Product Key: Invalid RRS feed

  • Question

  • I bought my Acer Aspire laptop from WalMart.com and after I got it, it started asking for the Product Key...I typed that in correctly, and it still comes up as invalid. I've tried calling the activation line, but after I give the numbers for the 9 groups of 6 numbers, it comes back invalid. Now I am unable to access my laptop..whenever I login, I get a black screen with the Windows Activation box asking for me to call to activate, do it online, or type in a different product key. Any help available would be very much appreciated. Also, I downloaded and ran the diagnostic tool for Windows Vista...this is what I got.

  • Hi KyraAngel07,

Please try activating by phone again, but this time either enter the option to takes you to live Activation Rep or if there isn't an option, don't enter any numbers and wait till it finally connects you to a Activation Rep. Explain your issue and after a few questions, to ensure you are still using Vista within your License agreement, the Rep should help you get Vista activated.

    Thank you,
