Facing problems installing Matlab in my new laptop with windows 8

  Hi guys,

               I have recently bought a laptop with windows 8 preinstalled in it. I am facing problems when I am trying to install Matlab in my system. I have tried to install it and the installation procedure was fine and after installation I got a Matlab shortcut on my desktop but, when I click on the shortcut the installation procedure is again starting and this procedure is repeating. I was able to run the same Matlab version in my other laptop with windows vista on it. I got so tired of trying it that I am now thinking of going back to windows 7.

  Help would be appreciated a lot.
