  • Thanks for sorting that out so fast. I've migrated to a new machine and i don't know what i would do if i couldnt get it working. I'll burn a copy of the exe to a disk to keep with the original money disc. Its hard to believe that neither MS or Quicken think there is a market for finance software in the UK.

  • We are not sure if this will be unbroken, but we hope so. This is a recent thing.

If we get good checksum info, somebody download fciv via  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841290 to compute the checksums of a file, to see if it has been modified somehow. I am not sure this is correct, but I have
MD5 numbers of xxxxCEE3049F5411B660E456D1B69DEC and Sha-1 numbers of xxxxC04E1589366BAB5316F7EFBB7D2C44133AF, where the xxxx represents 4 other characters.

I am posting them this way because I have not verified the proper checksums for the Money2005-UK-QFE2.exe.exe file myself. I would like some user who previously downloaded the file from Microsoft to verify the checksums using fciv on his local copy of Money2005-UK-QFE2.exe.exe.

  • Thanks for the checksums. I have now been able to download.

I have added "static links" to the first post to solve things for now.
