The have had a number of instances of this type of thing in the past - presumably you got the Key through email, and it's stored in your MSStore account? - check that what you've typed in matches the account recollection.
Other than that, you should have emails (which I would have thought they'd have asked for copies of) to prove your purchase. phone back and argue your case.

Odd - we've not had many cases of this type of thing.
All I can really suggest is that you check that you haven't misread a character - B/8 is the commonest error.
Other than that - where did you get this copy of Windows from? Is it an Upgrade, or a Full Retail?
