  • Don't think the user has Exchange Server.
There isn't a forum for a specific virus here. You may get advise from anti-virus/antimalware diagnostics tools's forums.

  • Ok - where would I get to this? - note I am using Vista Home premium and it appears to have taken control of Vista. I.e. rthe Security Centre keeps coming up with an laert that I'm not running  anti virus s/w - that's not true. It also blcoks any virus software from running a scan - ie. Defender or Norton 360. It seems to have hold of Internet Explorer as well - trying to block me going to sites. It doesn't do that but - due to the fact that nothing seems to run to scan and delte it I can't get rid of it !!!!

Symatec want to charge me £70 to get rid of it!!!! It's called winfighter. Surely there must be a forum somewhere to handle this?

  • You can have a look at the Microsoft Malware Protection Center, or one of the Windows Live OneCare Forums.

See also, I think my computer is infected – what do I do now?.

There may also be forums at Symantec.
