  • Question

  • Hi guys,

I recently restored my computer due to driver errors on my ASUS G73J. I bought it with windows seven factory installed from NCIX in 2010 and have had no problems with windows since then. Today I got the message that I might not be using a genuine version. Knowing that I was, I quickly tried to get this resolved by telling it to validate and walking through the process. When I came back, it told me it wasn't, not to worry just spend more money to get windows seven. Here is the copy of the report suggested to another user to paste.

  • Your diagnostic is reporting that there is no BIOS SLIC table that it can self-activate with.  Have you had maintenance on the PC or changed out the motherboard?  At any rate, try entering the Product Key that is listed on your COA Sticker attached to the system.  The COA sticker may be in the battery compartment underneath the battery.

  • I had a friend update the BIOS and my problem persisted, so I restored the computer to the point before we started trying to update the drivers (to play Battlefield 4).

I have the code, where do I go to activate?
