Activity feed from Technet forum profile is not updated from yesterday RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

My Technet activity feed is not updated from yesterday. If I reply to a question or answer a question it must have updated in few seconds on my activity feed.

But from yesterday, it didn't update and even the points are not increased, if someone marks my contribution as answer the points might have increased.( I was thinking yesterday that the person asked the  question didn't give marks, but only marked as an answer. But I suspect this might be an issue with my account as the new feeds itself not updated. )

    Could someone help?

    Thanks,

  • Seems to be the general problem across the board. I have the same problem too. The forum veterans know that this problem happens periodically about every 3-4 months. The activity may or may not be restored eventually. In some cases it picked up, in some it was forever lost.

Your best bet would be to report this problem to fissues at microsoft dot com.

  • I find that Profiles are not updated for any TechNet/MSDN activity in the last 2 days. This includes the TechNet Wiki, the blogs, and MSDN/TechNet forums. It probably also includes the TechNet Gallery.

  • I've noticed this several times over the last month or so.

  • But the activity lost is not yet restored. Wondering if it ever is going to be restored.

  • This has been resolved now.

I sent an email to fissues at microsoft dot com. And I got a reply as 'no ETA and will be resolved soon'.

This seems to be resolved by yesterday.
