    i have a 2wire 2701hg-b modem/router from att....and connected to that is a belkin f5d9230-4....the whs is connected to the belkin...i have treid all to open the ports but still nothing.....need help

    Hi,
    you are a bit short with details.
    But this could be a typical double NAT situation, which makes port forwarding very complicated.
    Check this thread and this article for more information how to overcome the situation.
