  • I guess you are talking about the issue which was reported in CRM 2011 Rollup 16

"After installing Update Rollup 16, CRM reports embedded in IFRAME objects (on forms / dashboards /etc...) no longer display correctly when  using Internet Explorer 9 or Internet Explorer 10"

This was fixed in rollup 17. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2915687/en-us

Have you tried this on any other browser?

There is a solution as well on codeplex however that's unsupported as it involves Unsupported DOM Manipulation. See if that works out for you.

    Hope it helps!

  • Go to Dashboards, click on New button in ribbon. Click a template and then click Create.

Click on Insert Web Resource from one of the placeholder on Dashboard designer canvas.

In the Add Web Resource dialog box, in the Web Resource box, click the LookUp button and then choose “new_ReportControl”.

In the "Custom Parameter (data)" box, paste the report id.

If selected, clear the following check boxes:
    • Restrict cross-frame scripting
    • Pass record object-type code and unique identifier as parameters
    Click OK.
