Office 2007 Military Appreciation Edition product key can't be entered RRS feed

  • Question

  • My hard drive crashed and had to be replaced and now I am trying to reload my Office 2007 Military Appreciation Edition but when it asks for the product key and I try to type it in about half way though the system tells me that both "1" and "0" are not valid product keys.  It's been a long time since I originally installed this but I don't think I had a problem then and it says it is valid for 3 licenses so I don't know what the problem is.  The code under the bar code next to the words "certificate of authenticity" has both 1's and 0's in it, as does the code printed over the "office Military 2007 win32 English"  What am I doing wrong?

  • Hello Nichegirl,

The Product Key is not located on the CoA on retail software products such as Office 2007 MAE.

Open the pivoting part of the clamshell and look for a yellow-orange "Proof of License" label----it has the Product Key on it.  Microsoft Product Keys are in a "Five by Five" format, meaning five groups of five alphanumeric characters each.
