Adminstrator Has been Hijacked RRS feed

  • Question

  • Some changes have occurred that no longer allow me to control my "group policy settings."  I cannot install programs and can no longer connect to the internet.  My drivers are not recognized, or uninstalled.  I get error code 39 messages as well.  I am wondering if this is an easily recognizable virus/malware of some sort.  I cannot turn windows firewall on and cannot download any updates, as these are now prohibited by the group policy, which I cannot control.  If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.  I have run Avira Rescue to no avail.  Spybot and malwarebytes don't seem to find anything either.  However, these have not been updated lately as I cannot connect to the internet.  If this sends up any flags, let me know.  If I need to elaborate more, I will gather more details.
