Simple workflow question

Question

Hi there guys
I have created a really simple workflow that basically creates an email to a customer when they have opened a case and it tells them who the assigned agent is, nothing remarkable in that!
My problem is that when I change the assigned owner of the case and wish to invoke the workflow (to inform them that the agent has changed) I am getting the following error message: -
You cannot send mail as the selected user. the selected user has not allowed this or you do not have sufficient privileges to do so. Contact your sysadmin for details.
I know it is obvious I am sure but can you please send me in the right direction to change this so that agents can invoke the workflow.
We are on Office 365 and Dynamics online, I am not sure if it is an Exchange online setting or something else in Dynamics.
Many thanks in advance

This error was due to the insufficient e-mail privileges.
In Dynamics CRM, e-mail security is maintained for each and every user; For example: when an e-mail is send on behalf of another user then until and unless the specific user allows his permission, e-mails cannot be send.
The users can change the setting by modifying their personal settings in CRM:
Move to File -> Options -> Email Tab
Mark the checkbox stating “Allows other MSCRM users to send e-mail on your behalf”.

Can you post a screenshot of your workflow?
the agent is the owner of the record (owner field) or the agent is specified inside a separate lookup?

Hi Kerry,
There are 2 potential options which could be causing this message.
The first is a missing security role privilege;
The second is a personal option which must be set for the new owner of the Case record: ("Allow other Microsoft Dynamics CRM users to send email on your behalf.")
This personal option will likely need to manually be set for all users in your organisation for this workflow to always work as expected.
