  • Hi,

    system job in crm 4,all status reason is "waiting"

    I am a newbie to Dynamics

    Environment:
    large Business Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. Therefore SQL 2008 as well.
    We have a problem with system jobs that just have a status of “waiting”. I have read and re-read the blogs and other posts, and so far none the wiser.

    I have tried the following:

    Installed Rollup 17 – no difference
    Cancelled all the jobs via Settings -> system jobs, and deleted them
    Re-created the small import job (5 records)

    Help greatly appreciated,

  • This is a rather obvious question, but have you checked that the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Asynchronous service is running?

     

    Also, it may be worth checking the Windows Event logs (application) on the CRM server.

  • i was checked the microsoft dynamics Crm Asynchronous service, the service was running

    when i checked event log on the crm server,there's nothing error from the microsoft dynamics Crm Asynchronous.

    can you tell me, how to fix that??

  • What if you run an advanced find on system jobs and include the error message columns, that might show you more information.

  •  i was run an advanced find on system jobs, but no error message from the columns. and my workflow in system jobs still waiting.

    do you have another solution??

  • Have you opened the workflow item in system jobs to see at what step the job is waiting. Perhaps it is stuck at an e-mail step.
