I have a copy of office 2007 which was purchased over a year ago, it had three licenses, I put a copy on three computers in my house, my netbook, my wife's laptop, and our home pc.
Yesterday, I did a system restore on my netbook, but when I tried to put the product key from the cd box into the office activation it told me that the product key is invalid.
It is the same product key that was in the netbook before the system restore, one of the three licenses.
I tried to email microsoft to ask them about this, but it says that I need to have a valid product key to contact them for free and doesn't accept my product key as being valid.
Has anyone got any advice about this, or will I just have to buy another copy of office?
