renewal message needs to be reset RRS feed

  • My subscription doesn't expire until 5-2-2010 but I keep getting an at risk message that I need to renew.  How do I reset this?

    Try these options:
    (1) Run Removemachine.exe
           -- Go to bing.com --> Look for Removemachine.exe --> Run and follow the on-screen instructions

    (2) Uninstall/Reinstall Windows Live Onecare
           -- Go to bing.com --> Look for Onecare Install Cleanup Tool --> Run and follow the on-screen instructions

           To reinstall:  go to onecare.live.com --> click on the Free Trial Button --> Install the free trial of Windows Live Onecare and follow the on-screen instructions.  After the installation, associate it with your subscription by signing in with the live id that you used when you subscribe to it.

  • Odddog, Check your computer date and time. If the date and time are set correctly sign in at http://billing.microsoft.com using the Live ID and password associated with your One Care subscription. If your subscription end date appears to be correct at billing but incorrect in One Care please contact support.
