  • Question

  • Hi, I recently installed my copy of Windows Vista Buisness 64-bit, but the first time I tried to use and log on I got a Validation Error.  I can't even access My Computer or desktop either.

Enclosed is the Diagnostic Report.  I recieved my copy of windows from the school of engineering at UCLA.  As HSSEAS with a valid SEASnet account, we are entitled to software in a license agreement with Microsoft.  But so far I can't even take advantage of that.  Anyways, thanks.

  • Hello,

Could you try reactivating with the key your school gave you?  Even if you're locked out of your machine you should still be getting the option to reenter you key.  Then you can validate again at http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/ .  Please try doing that and let me know if you still have issues.  Thank you!
