  • I am receiving the message Volume with name Primary Volume is failing.  Please try to run Repair to fix the errors for Disk ST31500341AS.  This is the new hard drive I purchased and installed 2 months ago to relace what was a 320GB drive with a 1.5TB drive that mirrors the second drive in the system.  When I first started receiving the message, the disk refferred to by model number was the Hatachi Drive I had removed.  I found that the registry still identified the primary drive with the Hatachi model number, and I changed it to the Seagate model numer above.  Again the drive is only 2 months old and I have run the Seagate tools against it, and the diags say it it fine.  I had run the server reinstallation when I replaced the drive and it has otherwise been running fine.  Any suggestions to cure the health messages from appearing.
