Hi Vikiram!
It's bad to hear that! Any ways certifications are good with experience they can never take place of experience as experience is the biggest qualification. Certification are just showcase of your skills, They can give your experience, profile or career a boost along with the experience. Even then i found no reason you will find good job. Be confident, be prepared things will be better. Certifications will never go in vain.

First, your post was very hard to follow grammatically. Secondly, it should be noted that certifications do not guarantee employment - nor proficiency. Further, we were not provided with what was included in your "hard work" to become certified. What did you do to prepare yourself? Do you have any actual hands-on experience with the technology? Do you have a work history in that technology? How are you marketing yourself? What jobs are you applying for? Do you meet the qualifications for those applied jobs? See, there are tons of questions here to be answered. Non of which we can answer for you. All I can tell you is what I stated earlier in this post; "...that certifications do not guarantee employment." If that were the opposite, then there would be no unemployed certified people - which there are.
Employers are not going to hire you just because you possess certifications. Why would they? Certifications, in its basic form, only mean that you sat and passed an exam. Employers need confirmation. And that conformation comes from items I have listed such as work history, hands-on experience in the applied technology, and personal characteristics such as responsibility, trust-worthiness, and professionalism.

There are lots of benefits to getting certified, you can read about them here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/benefits/default.mspx
In the UK certainly companies nearly always ask for potential candidates to have a certain number of MCP's to their name, if you are going for anything other than the most basic role.- Proposed as answer by Brian_Jones Wednesday, March 11, 2009 12:22 PM
