  • Question

  • Hi,
Does OCS support SRTP? If yes, where is the capability located? Mediation Server? the MOC clients?

    Regards,

The support is inbuilt - all communicator to communicator or other RTC endpoint uses SRTP. The coversion back to RTP occurs in the Mediation server.

  • What if the MOC client is conversing with a party on a SIP PBX that also supports sRTP for example - will secure media be possible between the MOC client and the other party in that case? i.e. would the Mediation Server "proxy" sRTP (open standard after all) between the two sides, or does the Mediation Server in fact only allow RTP to the SIP PBX (e.g. non secure G.711)?

    Thanks a lot!
