Laptop suddenly not windows genuine

A few months ago I got my laptop fixed and it wasn't genuine like it was before. At the time, it wasn't something that bothered me however, recently it's been rather 'forceful', you could say, about it and it's become a nuisance when I try to watch videos or play games. I know there are many thread about this topic but none of them appear to be recent.
