    Is there any limitations in installing SW and applications to WHS and does WHS OS support same applications as Windows XP?

    Installing any other software than those provided with Add-Ins is unsupported, may be against the EULA and has the potential to break the Windows Home Server functionality.
    Using the server as a desktop replacement is not a good idea anyway for any server (besides dedicated terminal servers).
