Why does our Phone Communicator (Tangay) adds a 9 for external calling RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am not able to do external calling with our Tanjay Phone (Polycom CX700).

Looks like it adds up a 9 before the number....so it ends up with 2 * "9".

    Example:

I want to call 514-555-8782.  We add a nornolization rules thats add a 9 in front of the Number.

    Here what is happening,

With Communicator: The patterns resolved to 95145558782, and we are able to make external calls.

With Tanjay:  The patterns resolved to 995145558782   .... 2 * "9".  And the call cannot be complete.

    Why we have that behavior?

    Thanks

  • Are you sure that they are using the same Location Profile?

They all have their own normalization rules

Did you login again into the tanjay after making the change to the normalization?

  • Yes we are using the same location profile....we only have just one profile anyway.

I tried to shutdown and log back in but no success.

    Thanks for any help.
