Gracefully backing out of a fail over cluster in server 2008 r2

I have been running Hyper V on a failover cluster with 2 nodes. My SANS started to have problems so I moved the VM's off of the cluster to one of the servers internal HD's. I want to gracefully back out of the failover cluster and get rid of it in AD. At that point I will remove the SANS from my network. Is there a correct procedure to do this?
